Don't sweat the output part (that's in the next step). Set Soundflower as your system output device, then in Audacity, set Soundflower as your recording device.

The best one to use is a program known as Soundflower, a program that will allows you to route sound to other apps rather than the default speakers. This will bring up the Audio MIDI setup application. To record audio on your Mac using Audacity, you may need to install the program as well as additional plugins.
